Most of Chalki’s beaches are served by bus routes and small boats that cover these distances. Services operate frequently throughout the day, making the use of a private car unnecessary on the island. Visitors are kindly informed that the use of cars or mopeds within the settlement is strictly prohibited from 1st May to 31st October.
The island has a road network of approximately 15 kilometres, connecting the settlement with various areas of the island.
Taxi services are available. Cars, motorcycles and bicycles are not available for rent on Chalki.
If you arrive by private boat, there is a marina where you may moor your vessel.
