The Deputy Mayors of the Municipality of Chalki are appointed for a one-year term within the current municipal period and have the following responsibilities:
- Supervision of the human resources of the services under their responsibility.
- Monitoring the progress of projects and works carried out within their area of responsibility.
- Ensuring the proper condition and operation of equipment and infrastructure within their area of responsibility.
- Signing, upon authorisation by the Mayor, certificates, attestations and other administrative documents issued by the municipal services related to their area of responsibility.
- Cooperation with the President of the Municipal Council and the appointed Municipal Councillors for the resolution of issues and the coordination of activities.
